ALLSORTS
Allsorts is run weekly on a Wednesday morning from 10am-11.30am, this group is for children aged 18 months – 3yrs. This is a structured group so the children have the opportunity to have fun and learn, make new friends and learn new skills all at the same time. Each term we set a theme so we are able to base our craft, stories, singing and physical activities around that specific theme. This group allows parents/carers to spend quality time with their children, encouraging, helping and learning about their child’s development by simply just playing with them.
Those attending our groups are from every walk of life, multi-cultural, and everyone enjoys the inclusiveness of the groups and the activities on offer, it is a great way for parents to meet and share experiences. We encourage healthy snacks as this is an important step in establishing good eating habits that will benefit children through their lives, helping them to stay a healthy weight and prevent tooth decay.
We are also encouraging the benefits to Health of outside play/learning and this year have been using our Community facilities such as Princess Royal, Deveron Sports centre, swimming pool, Duff House Grounds, Boyndie Centre, Hoodles and also a day at the Beach, where lots of fun was had by all !!
